Corporate Safety Policy
It is the policy of the Entec Services, Inc. to insure the safety and welfare of its employees, clients, and the general public while they abide in the confines of Entec Services, Inc. areas of responsibility and work areas. Safety is a Core Value at Entec Services, Inc. Entec Services, Inc. management is committed to providing high quality services in a safe and efficient manner. Our people are our greatest asset. Therefore, it is imperative that all persons hired directly or via sub-contract, adhere to the safety guidelines, policies, and procedures contained within this manual.
Entec Services, Inc. operates under a Corporate Safety Program. Our corporate safety program manual is provided to each Entec Services, Inc. employee as a reference, as guidance, to utilize as a strategy towards meeting our stated Corporate Safety Goal of “Zero Injuries.” Each employee is provided a copy of the Entec Services, Inc. Corporate Safety Program Manual during New Employee Orientation. Our Corporate Safety Program Manual is available in hard copy or electronically.
Our policy provides a sound foundation to employees and management with regards to long and short-term solutions to hazardous exposure conditions. Our commitment includes the following:
• Hazard Identification and Control
• Job Hazard Assessment/Analysis
• Development and Implementation of Engineering Controls to Eliminate Employee Exposure
• Development and Implementation of Administrative/Management Controls to Manage Employee Exposure
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• The Provision of Training to All Employees
• Continuous Improvement
• Constancy of Purpose
• Open Lines of Communication throughout the Corporation
Copies of the Entec Services, Inc. Corporate Safety Program are provided to each Entec Services, Inc. Employee and to all Entec Services, Inc. clients upon request.
Safety Training
Entec Services, Inc. provides safety training to all employees based upon a training needs assessment designed to analyze the hazards present in the workplace and control each hazard. Safety training includes, but is not limited to:
• Hazard Communication Training – OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200 / MSHA 30 CFR Part 46 and Part 48
• Standard First Aid / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) – 29 CFR 1910 Subpart K
• OSHA General Industry Outreach Safety Training – 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Regulations – OSHA Training Institute
• OSHA Construction Industry Outreach Safety Training – 29 CFR 1926 Construction Industry Regulations – OSHA Training Institute
• OSHA Maritime Industry Outreach Safety Training – 29 CFR 1915, 1917, 1918 Maritime Industry Regulations – OSHA Training Institute
• MSHA Safety Training – 30 CFR Part 46 and Part 48
• Bloodborne Pathogens Safety Training – OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030
• Site Specific Hazard Awareness Safety Training – Various Facilities, Projects, and Locations
• New Task Safety Training – Various Tasks
• Department of Transportation (DOT) Training, Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) Training, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Training – 49 CFR
